Listen to Beyonce on iHeartRadio
Beyonce is following her hubby to Warner/Chappell Music. The star has signed a global publishing deal with the group, which will be effective immediately, according to Billboard.
The announcement comes days after Jay Z's Roc Nation record label inked a deal with the same publishers.
In a statement, Beyonce says she's moving to Warner/Chappell because of her long relationship with its new head Jon Platt, who joined the group last September. She says she trusts and admires Platt's vision and professionalism and looks forward to the partnership.
Bey was one of many artists Platt signed to EMI Music Publishing during his tenure there.
Platt says everyone at Warner/Chappell is honored to "serve this ground-breaking superstar as she continues to evolve."
