Listen to Jennifer Hudson on iHeartRadio

Jennifer Hudson is back in the studio to work on her new album.  Hudson took to Twitter this week to let fans know that she's laying the groundwork for her third album.  She posted several photos of herself in the recording studio with producer Salaam Remi.  A caption attached to the photo read "here we go guys." 

Her first day of recording apparently went very well.  Afterwards she wrote that she "had the best day in the studio."  She added that Remi let her be herself.  So far Hudson's third album does not have a title.  

Hudson's last album I Remember Me hit stores back in March 2011.  The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart after selling more than 165-thousand copies in its first week, and has since been certified gold.
