Listen to Chief Keef on iHeartRadio
Chief Keef is looking to God to keep on the straight and narrow path. The Chicago Sun-Times reports that Chicago pastor Reverend Corey Brooks plans to baptize Chief Keef -born Keith Cozart - when he's released from an Illinois juvenile detention center.
Keef is serving a 60 day sentence for probation violation.
Apparently, Brooks has been visiting Keef behind bars and arranged the baptism during one of their meetings. The so-called "rooftop pastor" believes Cozart is not a bad kid and that people forget he is 17-years old.
Brooks claims he has witnessed a change in Keef since the rapper has been locked up. He says Chief Keef has had a chance to think. The pastor also reminds the public that Keef is an entertainer and not "some terror who is wreaking havoc."
