Steel Magnolia The Remake Airs THIS SUNDAY Oct 7th on Lifetime
Lifestyle has decided to take a classic film and give it an African American spin. It’s rare that you see films get remade with an all black cast, but that’s exactly what they have decided to do with 1989′s Steel Magnolias, now featuring Queen Latifah, Jill Scott, Phylicia Rashad, Alfre Woodard and others. They will be taking over the roles that originally featured Dolly Parton, Shirley MacLaine, Sally Field, Julia Roberts, and Daryl Hannah
