A source tells the Hollywood Reporter, "J. has been working non-stop to put out his album a week earlier -- living in the studio, bringing in full orchestras and a choir." And J. says, "I wanted to come out earlier, but I kept hitting these creative zones where I couldn't finish. Cause I kept making more and more and more. It…was effortless, how I made this album."

At the surprise event that wasn't made public until word got out yesterday afternoon, Ye played an hour-long set, opening up with dramatic renditions of last year's singles "Mercy" and "Cold," followed by previews of two new tracks that are more than likely from his upcoming sixth album, expected to drop June 18th.
A few songs later, he got into a track he recently debuted for the first time at the Met Ball.

Kelly Rowland is coming clean about the jealousy she once felt toward Beyonce -- in a new track titled "Dirty Laundry."
In the song, Rowland admits that as Beyonce's solo career began to soar, she began to feel down in the dumps. She sings, "When my sister was on stage/ Killing it like a [MF]/ I was in rage/ Feeling it like a [MF]/ Bird in a cafe/You'd never know what I was dealing with/ Went our separate ways/ But I was happy she was killin' it/ Bittersweet, she was up, I was down/ No lie, I feel good for her, but what do I do now?"
Rowland also admits that her jealousy was largely the result of being trapped in an abusive relationship. "Meanwhile this [guy] putting his hand on me/ Saying you don't know the half of this industry, I was battered/ He hitting the window like it was me, until it shattered/ He pulled me out and said, 'Don't nobody love you but me/ Not your mama, not your daddy, and especially not Bey."
'"Dirty Laundry" will be on Rowland's album Talk a Good Game, which hits stores June 18th.
Despite plenty of evidence to the contrary, Kanye West wants you to know that he's no celebrity! West made the claim last night during a surprise performance at
West said, "All I do is make real music. All I do is sit in the studio and make real, real [stuff]. And that's it...So I don't want nobody trying to run up on me with no cameras, trying to sell pictures and [stuff] to magazines, asking me no dumb-ass questions, throwing me off of my focus," adding, "I ain't no celebrity."
West also shot down speculation that he would appear on a Saturday Night Live skit to poke fun at his recent run in with the paparazzi and a pole in LA. He said, "Hell, nah, I ain't doing no 'SNL' skits. This my goddamn life. This ain't no joke. That's it. Stop that [stuff] right there."
